AkzoNobel

AkzoNobel is a recognized manufacturer of chemicals and coatings.

AkzoNobel is an international corporation operating in more than 80 countries and employing around 60 000 people. The head office of the corporation is located in Arnhem (Holland).

AkzoNobel was established at the beginning of 1994 by joining two groups - AKZO and NOBEL. AkzoNobel is comprised of a number of companies having long and eventful histories. The oldest companies of the group are Det Holmbladske Selskab (Sadolin), established in 1777, Sikkens (Holland), and Bemberg (Germany).

 In Sweden, famous scientist Alfred Nobel established several companies that are part of the group today. 

AkzoNobel is the global market leader as a manufacturer of finishes. The company owns more than 20 plants all over the world for manufacturing industral wood finishes. With regard to developing environmentally-safe finishes and new technological solutions, AkzoNobel is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial wood finishes. The products of the group can be used for finishing furniture, parquet, windows, doors, wood panels and other wood surfaces.
